What happened to Shankar’s I

Shankar’s magnum opus I has been in news from the day the shoot has started. The movie has been under shoot for more than two years and the shoot of the movie has been wrapped up. The trailer of the movie has created huge buzz and smashed the records on youtube. The Tamil audio of the movie has been launched in September in Nehru Stadium, Chennai in a grand event. AR Rahman has composed the music and the audio of the movie has entertained the audience. The movie has been directed by Shankar and Vikram, Amy Jackson played the main leads in the film.

After the Tamil audio lauch, there have been lot of dates speculated for the Telugu audio launch and the producer has confirmed that Jackie Chan will attend the event in Hyderabad. However the audio event has not witnessed till date and the movie has rumored to get several release dates. The makers have announced that the movie will release for Diwali and then in November. Till now there has no any official confirmation. The Telugu audio should be released for the movie to get release as the movie is bilingual. Lot of rumors started floating that the movie has been in deep financial problems. The makers have not confirmed about the release date and lots of big films are making their ways for release in Tamil and Telugu in November and December. Let’s wait to see when I will make way for release.
