Super talented director Shankar has been working on his dream project 2.0 from over a year. Said to be the costliest Indian movie, 2.0 is being made on Rs 400 crore budget. Superstar Rajinikanth is the lead actor and Akshay Kumar is the lead antagonist. The movie’s shoot is in final stages and the film has been aimed for Republic Day release next year. The post-production work of the film is currently on cards and the film has a massive VFX work throughout.

As per the latest news, the makers are in plans to release the audio of the movie during October and the event will take place in Dubai. The whole cast and crew along with some surprising guests are expected for the event. AR Rahman composed the music and Amy Jackson played the female lead. Produced by Lyca Productions, 2.0 is set for January 2018 release in 15 languages. Shankar is working round the clock and he is said to have enough time for the post-production work of the film.
