Rudramadevi Tamil Postponed

Gunasekhar has been working hard from the past three years for his magnum opus titled Rudramadevi. This periodic drama features Anushka playing the title role of Rani Rudramadevi in the movie and Rana Daggubati, Catherine, Nithya Menon will be seen in the other prominent roles. The movie release has been delayed several times due to several problems and rumors started floating about the film. Gunasekhar has taken a bold step at this time and he announced that the movie will hit the screens on October 9^th in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages.

Reliance Entertainments stepped forward and invested huge money to bring out the project. As per the latest news, the Tamil version of the movie will not release on October 9^th as per scheduled. Tamil distribution company, Sri Thenandal Films announced that the movie will hit the screens on October 16^th as they want the movie during the Dasara holidays. The Telugu and the Hindi versions will release on October 9^th. Ilayaraja composed the music and Gunasekhar produced the movie on Guna Team Works. Rudramadevi marks the first stereoscopic 3D film among the periodic dramas made in the history of Indian cinema.
