Alia Bhatt signs a new film

Alia Bhatt has got very good marks for her acting skills in Two States. The movie was an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s novel  2 States. Now the latest news is that Alia Bhatt has signed for a new movie. Chetan Bhagat’s is all set to turn producer with his next novel Half Girlfriend. The book will be launched on October 1st in Mumbai and Delhi. The news is that Alia will play Riya, a posh girl from Delhi, who is the book's protagonist. The author has joined hands with Mohit Suri and Ekta Kapoor who will be on board as co-producers.

 

Though the book is yet to release the news is that Riya is a student at St Stephen's college and has an air of self-importance around her. Buzz is, Kriti Sanon and Huma Qureshi are among the contenders for the role. Alia Bhatt has been finalized for the role of Riya. Mohit Suri will direct the movie. Alia her self is keen to work with Mohit, who is her cousin," says the source.When contacted Mohit said, "Alia is an amazing actress. I'm currently developing the script and haven't reached the casting stage”.
