Oopiri First Week Collections

King Nagarjuna proved that he is still the King of box-office with his recent release Soggade Chinni Nayana which raked Rs 54 crores in its final run all over the world. The movie surprised many big films that released for Sankranthi and it emerged as the Sankranthi winner all over.

Now he targetter summer and came up with latest film Oopiri which has been doing stupendous business all over. Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, Oopiri featured Nagarjuna and Karthi in the lead roles and the movie is said to be the remake of French blockbuster The Intouchables.

The movie released all over on March 25th and it received wide response all over and especially al over the multiplexes. The movie released simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil languages, the movie has been widely accepted by multiplex audience. Oopiri is a massive hit in overseas and the movie crossed 1 million USD mark in just 5 days in USA.

Oopiri collected a share of Rs 20 crores in its first week across the world which is quite decent among Nagarjuna’s films. The movie is expected to end the makers and buyers in decent profits in its final run. The collections have been quite strong even in the second week revealed trade analysts. Tamannaah played the female lead in the film and Gopi Sundar composed the music.
