Lingaa climax to be shot in Shimoga?

Here's the latest on KS Ravikumar's Lingaa starring Rajinikanth, Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka. After wrapping up the Hyderabad schedule, sources close to the team inform that they will begin shoot in Shimoga from August 18th. Though the film's producer refused to comment on this development, a source close to the unit confirms that the climax scene will be shot in Shimoga and the entire team of actors including Anushka and Sonakshi Sinha, will be present there.

The source says, "Lingaa's climax portions are very likely to be shot in Shimoga. The team is also planning to build a Lord Shiva statue and a big dam set to film some important scenes. They are keeping the details about their schedule in Shimoga under wraps as they had a lot of difficult managing the huge crowd that thronged the shooting spots when they shot in Mysore and Hyderabad earlier."

We also hear that the audio of the film is likely to be released on Diwali. Since the team is planning to release the film on Rajinikanth's birthday, December 12, the shooting is going at a fast pace.
