Lingaa Team Ends Rumors

Superstar Rajinikanth has shot for his latest movie Lingaa in record number of days and the movie shoot has been wrapped up. The post production work of the film is currently on and the movie has been directed by KS Ravikumar. There have been rumors that the movie has some resemblances with Vijay’s latest release Kaththi. Vijay’s Kaththi discusses about the corporate water exploitation and rumors have been making rounds that Lingaa too has the similar concept and the released teaser shows some similar sequences. However, Lingaa's producerRockline Venkatesh says his film is way different from Kaththi.

The producer of Lingaa has clearly clarified that the there has been no connection between Lingaa and Kaththi. He also clarified that the script of Lingaa is completely different and the movie has not been shot again. Anushka and Sonakshi Sinha played the female leads in the movie and Jagapathi Babu will be seen in an important role. KS Ravikumar who directed Muthu and Narasimha with Rajini is directing the movie. AR Rahman has composed the music for this movie and the audio of the movie will release on November 9th in Chennai. Lingaa will release on December 12th on the occasion of Rajinikanth’s birthday.
