Ritesh’s Lai Bhaari touches 40 Crores

Ritesh Deshmukh is on an all time high in his career as he has moved into the top league in Bollywood and also has set his eyes set on Marathi Cinema. His latest Marathi production ‘Lai Bhaari’ opened to packed houses and went on to become a huge blockbuster. The film has managed to collect 40 cores till date which is massive business keeping the film’s market which is limited to just Maharastra. Produced by Genelia, this film is a typical masala entertainer. Ritesh is also high on the success of his latest film Ek Villain which has collected over 100 crores.

Lai Bhaari has now become the highest grossing Marathi film till date. Directed by Nishikanth Kamath of ‘Mumbai Meri Jaan’ and ‘Force’ fame, the movie was made on a budget of Rs. 8 Crore. The movie is an action film with dose of Comedy and Family drama. Salman Khan and Genelia's special appearances added glamour for the film. The actor, who had three back to back releases in the recent past, is basking in Box Office success of ‘Humshakals’, ‘Ek Villain’ and ‘Lai Bhaari’.
