Adnan Sami honoured with Asian Award

Singer Adnan Sami has been honoured with the extremely prestigious Asian Award under the patronage of the Honourable ‘HOUSE OF LORDS’ from the British Parliament. The award was conferred upon Adnan Sami by Lord Billimoria, the Chairman of the Judges.

 

Adnan Sami has been honoured this year with this award for his Outstanding Achievement in Music. This award was also patronised by the Prime Minister of Britain & Mayor of London. This is the biggest Asian Award in the world with previous recipients being Mother Teresa, Ratan Tata, Pandit Ravi Shankar, Sir Ben Kingsley & Amitabh Bachchan to name a few.

 

Sami, who is touring Europe at present said, “I am truly honoured & humbled by this award. My sincere thanks & gratitude to all those who helped me in my journey towards this achievement. I dedicate this award to my late father & receive it in the name of India”. On the work front, Adnan Sami’s last Hindi song was ‘Bhar Do Jholi Meri’ in Salman Khan starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
