John Abraham to Produce Banana

Actor turned producer John Abraham, who ventured into production with 2012 surprise hit 'Vicky Donor', has made a mark as a successful producer after his ‘Madras Cafe’ has also got a positive response. Madras Cafe recieved some rare reviews along with many awards. The latest news is that John is all set to produce a movie with Imtiaz Ali’s youngest brother Sajid Ali and this film is titled as ‘Banana’.

Sources say that this film is all about friendship, loyalty and love set in Jamshedpur and interestingly, all the lead characters are played by 17 year old actors. The story is set in the backdrop of school and the story deals with the ups and downs in the school life. Confirming this John stated that he is producing Imtiaz Ali’s brother Sajid Ali’s film ‘Banana’ which only features newcomers. This film is slated to release by the end of this year.
