Akkineni’s young and handsome lad Akhil Akkineni made his debut as an actor with Akhil. Mass specialist VV Vinayak directed the film which has been made on a huge budget of Rs 50 crores. The movie released during Diwali season and the movie ended as the biggest debacle in the recent times. However Akhil received exceptional response for his performance in the film and his stunning dance movements have left everyone in surprise. With an impressive debut as actor, the result of Akhil has not made any impact on this young actor.

Akhil has been flown with multiple offers and there have been lot of rumors about the second film of Akhil even before the release of his debut movie. Top directors like Trivikram Srinivas, Srinu Vaitla have been rumored to direct his second film but as per the sources, talented director Krish narrated a script to Akkineni family which impressed them big time. Krish is currently working on the bound script and he will narrate the final draft soon. The regular shoot of the film will start in the second half of January if things take place well. Krish’s recent film Kanche ended to critical acclaim which has been set during the pre independence era.
