Akhil Akkineni is making his debut with Akhil and the movie is being directed by VV Vinayak. The makers are extensively promoting the movie to reach the audience before the release. Lot of promo videos along with interviews are released at regular intervals to impress the audience. The movie has been made on a whopping budget of Rs 50 crores and Sayesha Saigal is playing the female lead in the movie. SS Thaman and Anup Rubens composed the music which is already a chartbuster. Nithin is producing Akhil on Sresht Movies banner and the movie has been slated for release on October 22nd all over. The makers have released a special video in which Akhil interviews comedian Brahmanandam on the sets of the movie:
