Srimanthudu First Weekend Collections

Superstar Mahesh Babu is back to mainstream cinema with his recent flick Srimanthudu. The movie has been directed by Koratala Siva and the movie has been receiving exceptional response from the audience all over. The emotional content and the action episodes along with Mahesh Babu’s performance have been well received by the audience all over. The movie opened to packed houses all over and the collections have been quite strong in the first three days. Srimanthudu collected a share of Rs 48 crores in the first weekend which is one of the biggest opener in Tollywood till date.

With no big releases in the coming week, the movie is expected to mint huge money in the first two weeks without any disturbances. Sources say that the movie is expected to recover all the investments before the first week. Tollywood has been quite happy with the successes of Baahubali and Srimanthudu in a short gap. Sruthi Haasan played the heroine and Jagapathi Babu played the important role. Devi Sri Prasad composed the music and the audio is a huge hit all over. Yerneni Naveen, Y Ravi Shankar and SV Mohan produced the movie on Mythri Movie Makers banner.
