Varuntej’s debut movie Mukunda has released on December 24th on the eve of Christmas. The movie has received good response from the audience all over. The movie has been directed by Sreekanth Addala who directed Kotha Bangaru Lokam and Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu in the past. Sreekanth expressed his happiness about the response of the movie and said that Mukunda got good openings. He also said that Mukunda is a very good film and it received good word of mouth. 

 

Sreekanth also said that Varuntej’s performance and the dialogues of the film have been receiving good response. He said that the movie is a family entertainer with clean content. Varuntej and Pooja Hegde played the main leads in Mukunda and Mickey J Mayor composed the music. The movie has been produced by Nallamalapu Bujji and Tagore Madhu on Leo Productions banner. Mukunda managed to collect 3.4 crores on the first day in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Mukunda has been released during the Christmas season along with Nithin’s Chinnadana Nekosam.
