Loukyam is Gopichand’s Biggest Hit

Gopichand has been lacking back in the race for some time as his films which even received good reviews could not mint money at the box-office. However his latest flick proved it all. The makers have been confident enough and they have released the film during the festival season to clash with Ramcharan’s Govindhudu Andarivadele. Released a week before GAV, Loukyam received very positive response and the movie has topped from Day 1. Even Ramcharan’s GAV could not disturb the collections of Loukyam and stood strong.

 

Utilizing the holiday season, the movie collected some great figures and ranked top among Gopi’s films. According to the trade analysts, Loukyam has been still going strong till date and the movie will stand among the super hits of 2014. The movie managed to collect around 17 crores in two weeks and the movie has been made on a budget of 7 crores. Rakul Preet Singh is the female lead in the movie and Anup Rubens is the music director. V Anand Prasad has produced the movie on Sri Bhavya Creations banner.
