Superstar Rajinikanth is shooting for his next movie 2.0 which is in final stages of shoot. Shankar is directing this big budget movie which is made on Rs 350 crores and Amy Jackson is the female lead. Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is the lead antagonist in the film and the shoot of 2.0 will be wrapped up by the end of this month. 2.0 produced by Lyca Productions is all set for release during Diwali this year and Rajinikanth will move on to his next project soon after he wraps up the shoot of 2.0.
The actor signed his next in the direction of PA Ranjith and it is said to be an action drama. The shoot of the film will start from May and will roll on without any breaks. The film will be made on a strict budget and Rajinikanth’s son-in-law is bankrolling the project. The cast, crew are currently being locked and Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films will produce the film. As per the update, the movie will release during December this year.
