Finding Fanny cast shoots quirky video

The first song of Homi Adajania's Finding Fanny is out and it comes with a quirky video to boot. Titled Fanny Re, the video features the movie's cast - Arjun Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Pankaj Kapur, Naseeruddin Shah and Dimple Kapadia. To ensure that the freewheeling dance number matched the texture of the film, Homi roped in long-time friend Shiamak Davar to choreograph it.

Says Homi, "I told Shiamak to stay true to the tone of the film and even showed him a few scenes. He laughed, saying he wouldn't have to do anything. It was a reunion of sorts for the cast. I can't get over Dimple's frenzied 'prosthetic' bum shake move!" Adds Shiamak, "It was fun choreographing the video as I wanted to bring out each character's personality."

The film, which releases in Hindi and English, is a quirky comedy that narrates the story of five oddballs, who venture out in search of Stefanie Fernandes (Fanny). In the course of their journey, they find meaning to their otherwise pointless lives. Finding Fanny, produced by Maddock Films and presented by Fox Star Studios, releases September 12th.
