Entertainment team Promotes Animal Welfare

After having Junior, the Golden Retriever play the title role in their film, the makers of Akshay Kumar starrer Entertainment are supporting the cause of animal welfare. In a first-of-its-kind initiative, the film's team is hosting an event where the wardrobe of the principal cast including Tamannaah, Sonu Sood, Prakash Raj and Krushna Abhishek will be exhibited for sale. Besides, personal items of Akki, Twinkle Khanna, producer Ramesh Taurani and his wife Varsha will also be available.

This initiative is being organised in association with Shop For Heart, which has been founded by Varsha Taurani and Shanty Sivaraman along with Rachana Nakra. The exhibition will be open to public and its proceeds will go to Youth Organisation in Defence of Animals (YODA). Akki, who's an animal lover himself, says, "Working with an amazing dog like Junior made my feelings against animal cruelty even more pronounced. The work YODA is doing is truly inspiring. It is today's youth who can bring such a serious issue to light and I'm glad to do my bit for the animals".
