Badlapur Mints Huge Money

Bollywood Heartthrob Varun Dhawan has taken a U turn from romantic movies and he has been seen in an out and out mass entertainer titled Badlapur. The theatrical trailer of the movie has increased the heat on the movie and the expectations reached the skies. The movie has been released all over on February 20th and it received stunning response all over. The movie has minted huge money in its first week and is going strong in its second week as there are no big releases last week. As per the latest update, the movie has collected Rs 40 crores till date and is expected to cross Rs 50 crore mark.

Varun Dhawan, Yami Gautham, Huma Qureshi, Nawazzudin Sidhiqui, Radhika Apte and Divya Dutta played the main leads in the movie which has been directed by Sriram Raghavan who recently directed Agent Vinod with Saif Ali Khan. The movie has some gripping screen play and packed action sequences and the performances of Varun Dhawan, Nawazzudin Sidhiqui are said to be the highlights of the movie. The movie is expected to cross 50 crore mark by the end of second week. Made on a budget of Rs 25 crores the movie is expected to turn out as a huge profit venture for the producers. Dinesh Vijan and Sunil Lulla produced the movie on Maddock Films banner.
