Sonam Kapoor Signs a New Film

Anil Kapoor’s daughter Sonam Kapoor has proved herself as an actress and she has received good recognition with her movies Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and Khoobsurat. She has been signing movies on a continuous pace and she is currently shooting for Salman Khan’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo in the direction of Sooraj R Barjatiya. She has also signed a new movie for Anil Kapoor Productions which will be produced by her sister Rhea Kapoor and Fawad Khan will play the main lead who has been seen in Khoobsurat with Sonam Kapoor.

In the season of bipoics going in Bollywood, sources say that Sonam has signed a new biopic of Neeraja Bhanot who is the senior flight crew member, who became the youngest recipient of the bravery award, Ashok Chakra. Sonam Kapoor has been roped in to play the role of Neerja Bhanot who was the senior crew member in famous airlines PAN AM when four terrorists hijacked a flight in 1986 and she died a martyr trying to save the lives of three children whilst shielding them from bullets. The biopic has been tentatively titled Neerja and will be directed by ad filmmaker Ram Madhvani. We hear that Sonam Kapoor will start shooting for the film once she wraps up the promotions of Dolly Ki Doli and completes the schedule of Sooraj Barjatya's Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.
