Ram (Kalyaan Dhev) is an unemployed youth who hails from a middle class family. His father (Murali Sharma) struggles to make it big in life despite of having been passionate. He dreams of making his son big but an expected incident shatters them. The rest of Vijetha is all about how Ram transforms himself and makes his father proud forms the major plot. The first half of Vijetha offers nothing new. We have seen several films and it relies completely on father - son relationship. The film starts on a predictable note and happens at a slow pace. The songs are the biggest barriers and the entertainment has been outdated. The interval twists turns the film interesting but Kalyaan Dhev fails to impress the audience. On the whole the first half has nothing interesting on board and is a boring affair.

The second half of Vijetha too continues on the slow pace and fails to impress the audience. There's nothing interesting in the film right from the story to the narration and Vijetha will sure leave the audience in huge surprise why Megastar Chiranjeevi opted out this flick for Kalyaan Dhev. The film dips down as it passes and it ends on a predictable note. The second half is a huge disappointment in all the available ways.

Kalyaan Dhev struggles hard to impress the audience with his performance. He has been poor in the emotional episodes and will have to work out much to impress the audience. His screen presence has been decent. Murali Sharma shines as usual and he is one among the major highlights of Vijetha. Malavika Nair looked apt and she has delivered a decent performance. All the other actors have been perfect in their assignments.

Vijetha lacks a strong conflict point and the plot looks outdated. The screenplay has been poorly written and the dialogues have been ok. The music and background score lacks fresh breath and they make hardly any impact. The cinematography work stands out and the production values looked decent. Rakesh Sashi should try his luck once again and will not taste success with Vijetha.

Vijetha is a huge disappointment as the film lacks interesting content and narration. Kalyaan Dhev fails to make any impact with his performance.
