Skin care tips for rain dance party
Posted: 07/04/2015 04:14 PM IST
As monsoon season is just around, many plan to go for rain dance parties. But spending more time in water will affect your skin. Follow these simple steps and stay protected.
Apply sunscreen lotion to protect your skin. Before applying makeup, first apply a layer of light moisturiser and then apply a coat of sunscreen.
As you will be in touch with water, avoid applying a very creamy foundation and concealer on your face, else it will smudge.
Apply a good quality of water-proof foundation.
Choose 2-in-1 stain product to colour your lips and cheeks. To apply it right, take a bit of lip stain onto two fingers and then tap it on your cheeks. Start in the middle, patting outwards so that you get a rosy blush that looks natural.
If you want to bronze your face, choose a oil-free product. This can stand water and won't wear off easily. Go for a shade that looks like a natural tan, dust it on your eyelids, a little above your cheekbones, on the forehead and the chin.
