Varun Tej enters Pongal Race

Handsome young lad of Mega Family and son of Naga Babu is making his debut with Mukunda. The movie shoot has almost been completed and the update is that Naga Babu is not interested for a November release. The makers of the movie have decided to release the movie in December on the eve of Christmas. With latest strikes hitting Tollywood, the shootings have been suspended and there has no any update about the start of shoots. These may bring troubles to NTR – Puri Jagannadh movie and Venkatesh – Pawan Kalyan movie Gopala Gopala who have already announced their dates for Pongal. The shoots may not be wrapped up to release for Pongal and these movies might not make up for release for Pongal.

If this happens, Varun Tej’s Mukunda will enter the Pongal race for sure and the makers are in discussions with these producers. Varun Tej and Pooja Hegde played the main leads in Mukunda which has been directed by Sreekanth Addala. The music has been composed by Mickey J Mayor and the recently released first look teaser is a huge hit and increased the expectations on the movie. Mukunda has been produced by Tagore Madhu’s Leo Productions and Nallamalapu Srinivas’s Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Productions banner.
