Mani Ratnam’s Biopic

Mani Ratnam is currently working on a love story and the shoot of the movie will start soon. Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menon will play the main leads in the movie. The movie is an urban love story set in Chennai and Mumbai which has not been yet titled. But the latest news is that Rensil D'Silva has been working on a script and Mani Ratnam has been co scripting for the film. The strory discussions have been started in 2007. There were rumors that Rensil D'Silva will be directing Mani Ratnam’s biopic but Rensil has rubbished the rumors and confirmed that they are just fake.

 

Speaking on this Rensil D'Silva said that “Me and Mani sir have worked on a script for some time and it’s in final stages now. Mani sir wants me to direct the movie and it is based on a biopic about a businessman's travels and his becoming rich story. It’s about a man who started his own company and made it big. I am making this movie with Karan Johar. It has got some magical touch as Mani sir has penned the script and the story”. More updates soon.
