It rained divas at the red carpet of Zee Cine Awards 2014 on Saturday evening when tinsel town thronged at the awards do for yet another night of pomp, show, awards, and honors.

Everyone, from Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, Abhishek Bachchan, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Shabana Azmi, Javed Akhtar, Om Prakash Mehra and who's who of B-Town congregated at the Filmcity in Mumbai to bring on the event, which is being now hailed as the longest award night of the season.

The event, which got inordinately delayed and stretched by four hours, thanks to the lax and lazy Bollywood Standard Time (BST), the awards do witnessed a long act by SRK, who was called into the dais to introduce the nominations for the best movies. In true SRK-in-stage style, King Khan pulled a spoof on each of the nominations, accompanied by television comedian Bharati, that tickled genuine mirth.

Bluffmasters Abhishek Bachchan and Riteish Deshmukh to kept their audience in splits with their deadpan gags.

Back, in the red carpet, Best Debutant Actress Vaani Kapoor cut a pretty figure in a black and cream net sari by designer Varun Bahl. Priyanka Chopra dazzled in a silver tissue sari with pink border and gold motifs by Jade. The former Miss World ensured all eyes were on her as she arrived in her brand new and customised Rolls-Royce.

Sonakshi Sinha, went ambitious in a Gauri and Nainika fishtail gown in black and white with a mesh panel and an interesting spiked headgear by Manish Arora. The young diva stood out with her style and pulled it off rather well.
