Baahubali Creates a Sensation at Cannes

Maverick director SS Rajamouli who has been the pride of Telugu cinema made it big with his last outing Baahubali: The Beginning. The movie created wonders at the box-office and the visuals have been a treat for the audience. Baahubali is the biggest hit among the South Indian films and it stood in the top five grossed Indian movies. The movie has been screened in various International film festivals and received critical acclaim all over.

The movie has now been screened in Cannes Film Festival and it has become the hot topic because of the Virtual Reality. The VR experience of Baahubali has been widely discussed and the makers of Baahubali teamed up with AMD’s Radeon Technology Division. A special stall has been set up and a number of celebrities have lined up to know more about the VR experience.

Rajamouli is currently busy with the second installment of the film which has been titled as Baahubali: The Conclusion which is being shot currently in Hyderabad. Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka and Tamannaah played the lead roles in the movie. Arka Media Works is bank rolling the project which will hit the screens during April next year.
