Mahesh Babu bonds with Shankar

Shankar, who was the chief guests at the audio launch of Mahesh Babu, Tamannaah starrer Aagadu, made sure that he stayed back for a while after the event to catch up with the actor. The two were spotted at an after party, along with Thaman, Sreenu Vaitla, Namrata and Roopa Vaitla.

Yesterday, speaking at the audio launch, Shankar said, "I have been watching almost all of Mahesh Babu's films since Okkadu and I really like his screen presence. His performance in Dookudu was excellent and it's not easy to blend dialogues and body language so well. I know Thaman from the days of Boys and he used to make me listen to his compositions. I'm glad that he has completed 50 films in such a short span of time." Later, Mahesh Babu thanked Shankar for gracing the audio launch and recalled his days from Chennai. "When I used to live in Chennai, I made sure that I watched his film on first day. He's one of my favourite directors."

The film has been directed by Sreenu Vaitla and 14 Reels Entertainment banner has produced the film. KV Guhan is the cinematographer and the film is expected to hit the screens on September 19th.
