Akhil Akkineni made a huge noise with his debut film Akhil but the film bombed badly at the box-office. However Akhil has been praised for his performance, acting skills and dance moves in the movie. The actor has been badly disappointed with the result of the film and he took his time to sign his second movie. Vikram Kumar who directed Akkineni multi-starrer Manam has been finally roped in to direct Akhil’s second film. After a huge wait, the film will be launched officially on January 14th in Hyderabad.

The regular shoot of the film will start from February first week and the film is said to be a romantic entertainer. Megha Akash will play the female lead in the film and Nagarjuna will produce this untitled movie on Annapurna Studios banner. Akhil’s second movie will be made on a lavish budget and Vikram Kumar is taking special care on the film. AR Rahman is said to compose the music for the film and the other cast, crew are currently being finalized.
