Comedian turned actor Sunil who had impressed with his films like Maryada Ramanna and Poola Rangadu failed to score a hit in the recent times. After a huge gap he is coming up with his upcoming movie titled Krishnastami which completed shoot sometime ago. Vasu Varma directed the film and Dil Raju produced it. The movie has been slated for Sankranthi release and Sunil is currently busy with his upcoming movie which is said to be an action entertainer. The movie started shooting from October and is in final stages of shoot.

Vamsi Krishna Akella who earlier directed Raksha is directing the movie which is an action entertainer. Sunil will sport his six pack abs for the movie and the makers are considering Jakanna as the title of the film and they have even considered Aggipulla and Sainikudu. Mannara Chopra is the heroine in the film and Sudarshan Reddy who earlier produced Prema Katha Chitram is producing Jakanna on RPA Creations banner. The film will complete all the formalities and will hit the screens during February next year.
