Mohan Babu Completes 40 Years in TFI

Veteran actor Mohan Babu known as Collection King has made it big in Tollywood with his stupendous performance. He has recently completed four decades as an actor which is something not easy for everyone. Born is a lower middle class family he landed in Chennai as he was interested in films. He made his debut with Swargam – Narakam directed by Dasari Narayana Rao which released on November 22, 1975. He did some challenging villan roles during his initial days after which he became a hero.

Mohan Babu has done 520 films till date in his career of 40 years which is huge. He has been entertaining the audience with his films after which he turned producer and started Sri Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures on which he produced 50 films out of which most of them have been successful. Manchu Vishnu, Manoj and Lakshmi have taken his legacy and are continuing as actors in Tollywood. Mohan Babu even started educational institutions named Sri Vidyanikethan on which he is serving the poor children by getting them educated. The Government of India felicitated Mohan Babu with Padmashri in 2007 for his contribution to Indian cinema. Long Live Mohan Babu.
