Crazy Star and leading Kannada actor Upendra has not been into Telugu films recently as a lead actor though he has been busy with back to back films in Kannada. He has been seen as a protagonist in Allu Arjun’s S/O Satyamurthy which impressed the audience this summer. Now Upendra is back to Telugu cinema with his latest movie Upendra 2 which completed shoot sometime ago. The movie is a sequel for his yesteryear super hit movie Raa. Upendra 2 has been written and directed by Upendra himself.

The audio of the film has been recently released and it received huge response all over. The movie has completed all the censor formalities and it has been awarded U/A certificate from the censor board. The total run time of the movie is 135 minutes. Parul Yadav and Chiristina Akheeva are the heroines in the movie and Guru Kiran composed the music. Top producer Nallamalapu Srinivas (Bujji) is the producer of the Telugu version and Upendra 2 has been slated for release on August 14th all over.
