Tamil actor Karthi has a decent market in Tamil and Telugu. He had many hit films in his pocket and his recent film Madras was a huge hit among the masses. He is currently shooting for his latest movie Komban and the shoot of the movie will be wrapped up by January. It’s already known that Karthi has signed a new movie titled Kashmora and the movie has completed all the pre production formalities. The sources say that the movie is not a horror film.

Gokul will direct the movie and the regular shoot of the film will start from February 25th. Nayanathara has been chosen as the female lead in the movie and Sri Divya has been selected for an important role. Sruthi Haasan has been initially chosen for the role however the Sri Divya has been finalized now. The movie is a multi genre film which has supernatural elements but no horror. The movie has action and comedy in enough quotients. The movie will be produced by KE Gnanavelraja on Studio Green.
