Anurag to Remake a French Film

Versatile director Anurag Kashyap who scored back to back hits in his career failed to repeat the success with Bombay Velvet. The movie has been made on a budget of Rs 90 crores and it ended as the biggest debacle of Anurag Kashyap. Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma played the lead roles in the movie.
Anurag’s production house Phantom is busy with multiple projects and the latest news is that Phantom joined hands with Reliance Entertainments to remake a French film titled La Famille Belier. This movie will be remade in all the leading Indian languages.
The 2014 release La Famille Belier was directed by Eric Lartigau and was greeted with critical acclaim and commercial success. Anurag Kashyap has been extremely satisfied with the movie and he wanted to remake the film. Anurag and Vikas Bahl are currently busy transforming the script to suit the Indian audience.
