PC’s Mary Kom to premiere at Toronto

After a lot of hard work, the Priyanka Chopra starrer Mary Kom is now nearing the release date. The actress who is excited about the release is leaving no stones unturned to promote the film and now we hear that the film will be premiered in Toronto.

The organizers announced the world premiere of the film at the 39th Toronto International Film Festival that will take place between from September 4 to 14. The makers believe that this inspiring story of triumph of a small town Manipuri woman making it global as a boxing champion should be told to the world and hence the premiere at TIFF.

Priyanka Chopra is excited after watching the response from the released first look and trailer. The actress underwent extensive training to get the look of the boxer right and she received support from the World boxing champion Mary Kom herself. Produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Mary Kom is directed by Omung Kumar and the film is slated to release worldwide on September 5.
