Gorgeous and stunning actress Katrina Kaif’s wax statue was finally unveiled at Madame Taussauds in London. The wax model of the actress was decked up in a shimmery white and pink lehenga which looks stunning. It is learnt that the diva donated her outfit to dress up the model.

Katrina, born to a British mother and Kashmiri father, was picked after she went head to head with competitors Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone to win a poll last year via Madame Tussauds official website and in collaboration with Panjab Radio, with more than 225,000 votes were cast. Celebrating "15 years of Bollywood", Kat’s became the latest celebrity to join the bandwagon of Bollywood famous personalities waxed at Madamme Tussauds.

"It's an amazing honour to be asked and to be featured alongside icons of the Indian film industry is humbling," the actress had said. After coming face-to-face with her wax model, Kaif said, "This is amazing it does look really like me."

Katrina's figure was created by a team of 20 sculptors and artists over a four-month period, using hundreds of precise measurements taken at a sitting in Mumbai and cost 150,000 pounds to create. Over 500 precise body measurements are referenced, real head hairs are inserted one by one, and countless layers of paints and tints are applied to build up skin tones to achieve a kind of astonishing realism.

The ‘Dhoom 3’ actress family including her sisters and brother attended the unveiling of the wax statue ceremony.
