Hirani confirms Sanjay Dutt’s Biopic

Rajkumar Hirani is a fascinating and passionate director who takes time to reveal a movie or an announcement. Though he made movies on a slower pace, their results left the audience highly satisfied. Rajkumar Hirani’s latest movie PK with Aamir Khan is getting ready for release and Rajkumar Hirani started work on his next biopic. There have been lot of speculations about the biopic of Sanjay Dutt but none of them have confirmed or trashed the news. Bollywood is now witnessing the season of biopics and recently Paan Singh Tomar, Bhaag Milka Bhaag, Mary Kom minted huge money and Dhoni’s biopic is in pre production stage. The latest update is that Rajkumar Hirani has confirmed the news finally that he will direct the biopic of Sanjay Dutt.

Speaking on this Hirani said “I am in process of making a film on Sanjay Dutt and the pre production work of the film is currently in process. The shoot of the film will start before Sanjay Dutt will be out from jail. I have taken lot of inputs from Sanjay Dutt’s family and other relatives who are close to him. I already have a close bond with Sanjay Dutt which made me understand about his nature personally. He is absolutely a small and honest child. His sisters Priya, Namrata, his brother-in-law Kumar Gaurav, and a very close friend Paresh gave lot of input which helped me to develop the script. The world knows just 10% of Sanjay and we are going to reveal the rest and the best about Sanjay Dutt”. Abhijat Joshi will be the writer for this movie. Ranbir Kapoor has been signed to play the role of Sanjay Dutt. More updates soon.
