Bollywood Superstar Aamir Khan took two years time and he is finally back with his latest outing titled Dangal. Nitesh Tiwari directed the film and Aamir Khan played the role of a wrestler named Mahavir Singh Phogat. Mahavir is a Haryana based wrestler who spent his life training his daughters who won medals for the country. Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sakshi Tanwar played the other prominent roles in the film. Dangal released all over on December 23rd across the world during Christmas in over 5300 screens across the globe.

Dangal started off with a decent start and it managed to collect Rs 29.78 crores on Friday. The movie gained strength with positive word of mouth all over and it collected Rs 34.82 crores on its second day. Sunday figures have been exceptional and the movie made Rs 42.35 crores. Dangal collected Rs 106.95 crores in its first weekend across the country. Aamir Khan Productions produced Dangal and the movie has done exceptionally well across the International circles.
