Supreme Star Sai Dharamtej is one of the finest actors of Telugu cinema. The actor scored decent hits like Subramanyam for Sale and Supreme. His recent outings Thikka and Winner ended up as disappointments after which the actor pinned all his hopes on his next movie titled Jawan. Talented writer BVS Ravi made his directorial debut with Gopichand’s Wanted in 2011 and the film ended up as a debacle. Now after six years he is back to direction with Jawan. The entire shoot of the film has been wrapped up.

Jawan is occupied with the post-production work and the makers initially wanted the film to hit the screens during Independence day weekend. Now with many films gearing up for release during the season, the movie has been aimed for September 1st release. The makers revealed the official release date and Mehreen is playing the female lead. SS Thaman composed the music and the audio of the film will be out soon. Krishna produced Jawan on Arunachal Creations banner and top filmmaker Dil Raju is presenting Jawan.
