Megastar Chiranjeevi is making his comeback to mainstream cinema after a huge gap of over nine years. His comeback film has been titled as Khaidi No 150 and the regular shoot of the film started couple of months ago. Sensational director VV Vinayak is directing this mass entertainer that has a strong social message and Khaidi No 150 is the remake of Tamil super hit movie Kaththi. Kajal Agarwal is the female lead and the recently revealed first look has been a massive hit. Khaidi No 150 is one of the most awaited Telugu releases and the movie has been slated for Sankranthi 2017 release.

The makers have been quoting huge prices for the theatrical rights in all the territories and between huge competition, the overseas rights of the film have been sold for a massive price. Classic Cinemas acquired Khaidi No 150 overseas rights for a record-breaking price of Rs 13.5 crores which is huge. Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer and Rathnavelu is the cinematographer. Ramcharan is producing Khaidi No 150 on Konidela Production Company banner. Catherine Tresa will shake leg with Megastar for an item number.
