He is back with his latest movie titled Janatha Garage which has been directed by Koratala Siva. This mass entertainer features NTR is a never seen stylish role and Mohanlal essayed a crucial role in the film. Janatha Garage has Samantha and Nithya Menen in the female leads and the movie released across the globe on September 1st. The movie received stupendous response from the audience all over.

The movie collected Rs 20.50 crores on its first day across the Telugu speaking states and despite of negative talk by a section of audience, the movie managed to hold strong on its second day. Janatha Garage minted Rs 5.25 crores on its second day which has been decent. The movie made Rs 25.76 crores in two days across AP and Telangana. The movie is running strong across the International circles too and Janatha Garage is said to cross Rs 50 crore mark in its first weekend. Mythri Movie Makers produced the film and Janatha Garage is turning out to be the biggest hit in the career of Tarak till date.
