Superstar Rajinikanth has been on a long break after wrapping up the shoot of his last movie titled Kabali. The movie received mixed response however it managed to mint money in its final run. Superstar completed 50% of the shoot of his next upcoming movie Robo 2.0 in the direction of Shankar. Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson played the lead roles in the movie and Akshay Kumar will be seen as the main antagonist in the movie.
There are strong rumours that the film’s release has been pushed to Diwali next year as Rajinikanth is not participating in the shoot. However the latest update is that Shankar is in no mood to miss the season of summer next year and the film will hit the screens during May next year. Shankar is planning perfectly to wrap up the film on time and Lyca Productions is producing the movie. Robo 2.0 will clash with Rajamouli’s Baahubali: The Conclusion which will release during summer next year.
