Analysis :

Rabhasa Telugu Movie Review

Story of the film is quite routine, and has nothing new to offer. First half of the film is quite simple, and has not much story in it. The fights that come quite often irritates us and the graphics in the fights are of low quality. The songs are shot so bad that we feel bored. NTR has nothing to do with the dance movements in the first half.

The second half starts on a comedy note entertaining us with some laughs. Comedy episodes involving Brahmanandam are good and will largely entertain the audience. The twists in the story confuses the audience too much and finally the movie ends on a routine note.

Performance :

Its not new to say but Young Tiger NTR carried Rabhasa on his shoulders. Specially his expressions in emotional scenes are top notch. amantha looks beautiful as always, and has a meaty role in the film. But it is Pranitha, who walks away with the cake. Even though her role is limited only to the first half, she looks gorgeous and shares a sizzling chemistry with NTR. Jayaparakash Reddy did one more hilarious characted and gets full marks out of it. All others have did their jobs for their roles.

Diolagues and Screenplay of the film are below the mark and the placement of the scenes are quite predictable. Director Santosh Srinivas plays it safe, and chooses quite an old and predictable script. He just showcases the film in a simple and routine manner. Production values are OK. Music has been routine and Photography is just average. Director Santhosh Srinivas who scored a hit with Kandireega has failed in executing a mass hero like NTR.

Final Word: On a whole Rabhasa has nothing new to offer and no way an useful film for anyone. The comedy in the second half entertains the audience for a while and the predictable plot with a bad narration makes Rabhasa a below average film. Watch Rabhasa if you have too much time and patience.
