Bangarraju (Nagarjuna) is a romantic guy who stays in Sivapuram with his wife Satya (Ramya Krishna). After his sudden demise, Satya takes the responsibility of growing up their only son Ram (Nagarjuna) who becomes a doctor and settles in USA. Three years after getting married to Sita (Lavanya Tripathi), the couple returns back to India seeking for divorce. This is the time Bangarraju returns back as ghost and he will be visible only to his wife Satya. An interesting shock surprises Bangarraju and the rest of the film is how Bangarraju brings his family out from problems and ends up sorting the differences between Ram and Sita. The first half of Soggade Chinni Naayana is highly entertaining from the first frame. Nag brought out the comedy during 90s and he entertained the audience hilariously with his stunning presence and stupendous performance in the film. The entire first half has been racy throughout and the songs have been fresh and they have been placed well. On the whole the complete first half of Soggade Chinni Naayana has been impressive in all the aspects.

The second half of Soggade Chinni Naayana too maintained the same pace with loads of entertainment. Nag took over the responsibility and shined with his stunning performance in the film. The emotional episodes have been written and projected well which are said to be the major highlights of the film. The pre climax and the climax episodes are the major highlights of the second half.

Akkineni Nagarjuna has been outstanding in dual roles in the film and he showed lot of variations with his performance. Nagarjuna as Bangarraju is the major highlight of Soggade Chinni Naayana and he carried the entire film on his shoulders. Ramya Krishna has been stupendous with her role and she suited the character of Satya well. Lavanya Tripathi played an interesting yet glamorous role which is the other highlight of the movie. All the other actors have been decent with their assignments.

The story of Soggade Chinni Naayana has been new and never touched. The screenplay along with the dialogues are the major highlights of the film. The music and the background score have been perfect, apt and they elevated the film well. The cinematography has been eye catchy and projected the beautiful locales of village atmosphere. The production values have been grand enough and rich. Kalyan Krishna makes an impressive debut with Soggade Chinni Naayana
