Baahubali (Prabhas)starts with Shiva who worships Lord Shiva and falls in love with Avanthika (Tamannah)who has a task assigned. Once he impresses her, he takes her responsibility to save Devasena (Anushka) who has been in the hands of Bhallaladeva (Rana Daggubati). As soon as he lands in his kingdom, he comes to know about his association with Devasena and the rest of the movie is what happened in the past and how he rescued Devasena. The first half of the movie goes slow but interesting. The visuals and the graphics have been decent with Prabhas’s stunning screen presence. The movie gets interesting during the pre interval episodes and catches the needed momentum. Though the story line has been thin and straight, the narration has been decent which makes the film interesting all the way.

The second half of the movie gets more interesting with the pace and the graphics have been good at quality. The war episodes have been shot well though some of them have been repeated and on the whole the second half has been well shot with huge episodes.

Prabhas has delivered a terrific performance with Baahubali and his screen presence has been magical. Rana Daggubati has delivered a commanding and strenghty performance as Bhallaladeva and is the highlight of the movie. Satyaraj has been surprising as Katappa and Ramya Krishna sizzled in her brief role. Anushka’s short and important role is the backbone of the film and Tamannah has been glamorous throughout. All the others have been decent.

The story of the film is quite normal and thin. The screenplay and the narration have been decent with less dialogues throughout. The graphics have been good enough and the cinematography has been stunning. The action episodes have been shot well and the songs have been beautiful. The production values have been vast and Rajamouli succeeded in delivering the required output.

Baahubali is sure a worth watching film which has good content, action episodes and large technical values along with terrific performances from the leads. A worth watching film.
