Jai, Siddarth, Nooka Raju, Bhavana and Priya are people from different places who meet and become friends in their college. They will be happy till there’s friendship between them. Once everyone start expressing their love, problems take the major part in their lives. Manashwini is the girl for whom Jai has been searching for and he finds her but fails to impress. The rest of the movie is how all the six friends overcome their problems and win in their love along with life.

The first half of the movie has nothing new but the movie goes on without any disturbances. But the whole first half makes you remember the past youth films that have impressed the audience. On the whole the first half has been just ok.

The second half has really good amount of emotional episodes but the movie has lot of dips which completely spoil the film. The complete film has been predictable and the climax has not been narrated in an interesting way. On the whole the second half is a letdown when compared to the first half.

Sumanth Ashwin as Jai has done lot of films in his career who impresses everyone. He has been energetic and performed good enough. Sridivya has been decent as Manashwini and Tejaswini has been quite different in the movie as she has been given a character to perform. All the other characters Siddarth, Nooka Raju, Bhavana have made an impressive debut and they lived up to the expectations. All the other actors have been impressive.

The story of the movie which has been the key for films like Kerintha has nothing new to say and even the director failed to narrate the movie with interest. The movie has lot of resemblances to many youthful entertainers and the film has been completely predictable. The music has been melodious and the songs of the movie have been shot well. The cinematography makes the film feel fresh and the editing has not been smooth. The production values have been impressive but Saikiran Adivi failed to impress the audience.

Final Word:

Kerintha is a film that has roots from many youthful entertainers in Tollywood. The movie has been completely predictable but the performances along with the music make the film just OK.
