Analysis :

Yevade Subramanyam Movie Review

The first half of the movie has been interesting because of the narration though it dips at times, the film manages to bounce back again which makes the movie steady. On the whole the first half has been decent and interesting.

The second half of the movie should have been handled well as it lacks pace and interest. The movie has been completely predictable which makes the film fall down. Though there are incidents which make the movie interesting, the second half is a fall down for sure.

Performance :

Nani has been excellent as Subbu and he has been matured enough as an actor which has been proved in the second half. Malavika Nair and Vijay Devarakonda have pumped out real talent and will sure make big in Indian cinema. Legendary actor Krishnam Raju is superb in his cameo and gives the necessary depth to the film. Ritu Varma looks beautiful and is apt in her role of a rich girl.

The story of the film has been quite interesting along with the poetic narration. The music has been apt and the background score is an asset. The cinematography is the main highlight of the movie which makes the film sit on the top. The production values have been grand enough and the producers should be appreciated for their brave attempt. The director has done great with the first half but he fails in delivering a standard and interesting second half.

Final Word:

Yevade Subramanyam is a brave attempt which has a decent first half. The movie dips down and it has been predictable in the second half. The movie will be completely restricted for multiplexes and can be given a try if you have time.
