Charan shelves Mani Ratnam’s Project

Mega Powerstar Ramcharan took a small break after Dhruva and he is busy shooting for his next movie titled Rangasthalam 1985. Directed by Sukumar, the movie is said to be a village romantic drama and Samantha is the female lead. The movie wrapped up two long schedules across the banks of Godavari and are on a break. The next schedule of Rangasthalam 1985 will start from July 8th in Hyderabad. Mythri Movie Makers are bankrolling this prestigious project and Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer.
There are talks that Ramcharan has been in talks with top director Mani Ratnam for a film from the past few years. Charan even revealed that he is quite interested in working with the veteran director. However after a shattering debacle like Cheliya, Charan is not in a mood to sign his next for Mani Ratnam. The latest update is that Koratala Siva is in talks with Charan for a movie and his next film is yet to be confirmed. Koratala will narrate the script to Charan after which the duo will take a call.
