Baahubali: The Conclusion ended up as the biggest hit in the history of Indian cinema. Ramya Krishna essayed the role of Sivagami which is one among the major highlights of the film. SS Rajamouli and his team initially approached veteran actress Sridevi for the role however she walked out of the project because of issues with her remuneration. It was Ramya Krishna has been approached and the actress has been showered with praises from all the corners of the country.

In a recent interview, SS Rajamouli revealed that Sridevi quoted a remuneration of Rs 8 crore along with share in profits for the Hindi version. She even demanded business class tickets and the entire floor in a five-star hotel during her shoot which left the makers in deep shock. When asked Sridevi about this she responded saying “There’s no point of speaking about why I rejected the role of Sivagami after the film faring well. The film is doing phenomenally well and I not interested to rake up the issue”.
