Young actor Nikhil is racing forward with back to back hits. The actor’s recent outing Keshava has been critically acclaimed and it has been declared as a commercial success which has been directed by Sudheer Varma. Nikhil is on a break and he signed his next which is said to be the remake of Kannada blockbuster Kirik Party. Touted to be romantic comedy, the film went to end up as the second biggest hit in the history of Kannada cinema. Nikhil has been extremely impressed with the film and he bagged the remake rights of the film.

Top choreographer Raju Sundaram will direct the movie and the pre-production work of the movie has been wrapped up recently. The movie will start rolling from June and the details of the other cast, crew will be revealed soon. Raju Sundaram has been occupied with many films and he will now concentrate on the remake after which he will be back to choreography. It was in 2008, Raju Sundaram turned director with Aegan starring Ajith and Nayanathara. However, the remake of Kirik Party will be his second directorial. The movie will be made on a massive budget and will have fresh cast lined up. The film will release early next year.
