Nag Gets his Best Satellite Deal

King Nagarjuna has been out of mainstream cinema from some time due to his tv show Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu. The tv show received rave reviews which made the actor shoot for the next installments though he signed couple of films.

However he wrapped up the shoot of Soggade Chinni Nayana and he made sure the film released for Sankranthi with many big films in race. Though the film released with low expectations, Soggade Chinni Nayana emerged as the Sankranthi winner dominating NTR’s Nannaku Prematho, Balakrishna’s Dictator and Sharwanand’s Express Raja.

The movie has been directed by Kalyan Krishna Kurasala who made his directorial debut with the film. Nag has been projected in a dual role and Ramya Krishna, Lavanya Tripathi played the female leads. Anup Rubens composed the music and Nagarjuna produced Soggade Chinni Nayana on Annapurna Studios banner.

Soggade Chinni Nayana will end up as the biggest hit in the career of Nagarjuna and the film crossed Rs 40 crore mark already in just two weeks. Nag has been very confident on the film’s success and he kept the satellite rights before the release. Now the satellite rights of Soggade Chinni Nayana have been sold out for Rs 6.5 crores to Gemini TV which is huge among his films. Sources say that this is the best deal for satellite among his movies.
